IDK what it is, maybe because they are limited but the Double Troubles just seem to have better tops than the normal Standards and really the only difference is the uncovered pups.

If I didn't already have a cherry sunburst I would have bought this one and I can't believe it's still available. Amazing top but it's slightly heavier at 9.5lbs. Was talking to the guys at Bizarre and was told the Double Troubles have been coming in sub 9lbs which was previously unheard of outside of the custom shop guitars, heck even 9.5lbs is better than the 10lb+ they can be.
