Is it really that bad for the price that you'll have to give it a -3? C'mon it is a decent price and I have been eyeing on it for a while for this price. I also have $599-$100 from my bank so its effectively $600+ for me but I still hesitate to swallow as I only buy the best deals.

from what I've read this gpu can't even do 1080P that well, if you only play six plus year old games on medium settings it will be fine. If you can afford it aim for a 5060 or 4070 that will do 1080P justice. Or wait for a deal on a 4060 or 7700s for 500 bucks in a couple months.

From what I checked 5050 is roughly the same as 4060 which makes it the best of 50 series card with a 8gb. Though I don't play any game I still think its a good specification. I honestly don't understand why people downvote it...

Wild that this has so many downvotes. The 225H seems amazing, weirdly there is almost no benefit to upgrading to 255H or 285H in benchmarks. No LPDDR so I can upgrade to 32GB or 64GB if I want to. Also difference from 5050/60/70 seems much less than in previous generations.

Intel is an automatic down vote for lying to consumers and stock holders about bad chip designs primarily on desktop... but I'm seeing degraded performance on my 3yo 12500h laptop too.. if cpu maker could shorten desktop cpu warranty to 1y they would...

Good deal. People downvoting this have no idea what they're doing. Clueless. Negatives of this device? Mediocre base screen, battery is meh. Screen upgrades are pretty reasonable ($70 & $120) for higher color gamut, refresh rate, NITS and resolution. Upgrade to WiFi 6E for $10. dGPU should be fine. You're looking at essentially a 4060 - 5% performance hit but with the option of MFG. Don't want to do MFG, don't. But don't complain about it. It exists. Want to go heavier with an insane dGPU, get GeForce Now Ultimate. Overall, not bad.
