This price is lower than the long price history. It is good to buy for yourself just for fun. But not so much for gift-giving as the retail packaging is fragile and and so the packaging usually does not arrive in great shape.

"The lumen output of this flashlight is 150 lumens." 150?! I guess the best part is replaceable batteries lol

It's a pretty awful flashlight.
Looks cool and that's about it. If someone needs a vintage looking light as a prop for some reason, this would probably cut it.
Beyond that, it's a toy.

Idk to me feel is pretty important. If it's sturdy and feels good in my hands I can use to find something. For $10 I don't need the power of the sun. I actually want something a little dimmer sometimes. Every flashlight now seems to have 3 settings.

Really Bright
Bright asf
Power of the sun

The reason I'm not getting this is because the led isn't warm light for nostalgia sake would be an instabuy if it were

What's a normal lumen for a "vintage" flashlight? I recall such a design on flashlights, but we did not care about the lumens back then. The problem is that we can get a smaller, lighter one in weight, maybe a keychain type, for the same lumen nowadays. Why bother with such "vintage" design? Don't get me wrong. I like "vintage" sometimes, but not flashlight, especially the one that can't do higher Lumens with a bucky design

I have one of these and it is brighter than the old 2 D battery mag lite. I have much brighter/smaller/lighter flashlights. But this is bright enough and includes batteries that should last a very long time powering the led. It just sits next to the couch and is there if needed. Does not get lost as easily as those smaller/lighter flashlights.

It is a toy. It's main feature is that it looks like the one they used in that TV show. It's not intended to be a serious flashlight for adults.
And how much light does a kid really need anyways? 150 lumens is plenty for playing around looking for demagorgons.

Vintage lights that weren't 5+ maglite D cell or 12v lantern battery units were basically candle lights. Trying to light a filament with an alkaline is a big ask.

I only bought it because it's the kind of flashlight I hung from my belt in the 80's as a lightsaber.
