Better to read the comment section from those that actually have the unit as the reviewer, as I quickly realized while reading the review, didn't actually have the unit on hand to review. The site just reviewed the brochure for the unit. And they didn't make that clear which makes the review absolutely useless.

There are two kinds of coffee drinkers willing to spend decent money on good coffee. Those that want to fiddle with every perceivable step in the process until they get their "perfect pull", and then there are those that just want to push a button and still get 90% of what the other crowd gets. This is for the latter.

Those in the latter camp all know it won't quite be up to par with the Bambino plus with the separate $400 grinder and the freshly roasted beans that have been off-gassed for exactly one week.

But they also just have to push a button and get 90% of the way there

I work for Bosch and this is what I would pay with my employee discount.

The Miele cm5300 for $500 makes way better espresso. If you like more milk than espresso you could like the Bosch.

The OP from this thread is a super auto, you just push a button and it makes your espresso.

The ninja is a semi auto. It grinds the beans into a device called a portafilter that you then tamp and attach to the machine again where it brews.

More control with the ninja and potentially better coffee, this one for pure ease of use.

Both have a semi manual wand for milk frothing.

Problems with all Ninjas, they will stop working after some time if you have even a little bit of hard water. This has been an issue for years with Ninja.

My brother's two cents.
If you buy a fully automatic espresso machine you should by a SAECO movement. Philips purchased SAECO in 2009.
And when you google automatic espresso machines roundup... SAECO always seems to be in the lineup while Bosch is not even mentioned.

Looks similar to the Phillips, which I returned. Maybe just a white label.
Why did you return it? I picked up a Philips 800 series a year ago for $300 and I absolutely adore it.
