This is what 4TB NVMe Gen4 drives were bottoming at many years ago. Disgusting and embarrassing that these greedy f#@ks are bloating to this 2TB price point after years of collusion.

YMMV, if you have 40% amex offer, this T500 2tb is $84.99

No offense but this never happened. I bought a four tb nvme from Amazon about three years ago for $280 and that was a crazy deal at the time.

Did you even bother to take the 10 seconds to click the deal link for Amazon and read the product title where it says "Playstation 5 compatible"?

I was trying to ask if it was a solid option but was multitasking. I apologize profusely.

Be mindful the heatsink cannot be easily taken off without damage. Model without heatsink is the same price.

Depends on the model of your laptop. Most likely that heatsink won't fit.
I have a bunch of these and I would be mighty impressed if there is a laptop on the market where this fits with the heatsink. When loaded these run pretty hot, even with the heatsink, so make sure your laptop has some kind of cooling for them.

It's been OOS for days on amazon retail side, but they still have it in stock on amazon business so that that tells me they wont put these back up as in stock until Monday/Tuesday for prime days..

FYI to you and @amax, you can easily look at price histories online to determine the truth. For example you can search for past deals on this site, or use a site like camelcamelcamel to see what Amazon charged.

I picked the Crucial P3 4TB (name brand, but lower end) and found that the lowest price on Amazon was $159.99 in late 2023, when the market was at its lowest.

So no, $280 for 4TB was not a screaming deal, at least not if we're talking about the cheapest all-time price. And $150 was stretching the truth a little (for name brand drives), but not by much.

Do you need the heat sink if it's installed in motherboard?
