I bought it last week but have to return it because it has a very strong chemical smell which convinced me that it is not a good idea to put on the face.

Bought one. Arrived recently.
usually up at 5:30am-6am for decades.
the 4 nights i wore them, sleeping well into the 7-8am hour.
not that it matters a whole lot, but they are packaged like a very expensive product. like a $100 item is inside.
may buy a 2nd one

Really wish they made one exactly like this with deeper pads. Would pay 4x as much. Ideally out of cotton.

I have a similar sleep mask, but I stopped using it. They work well for naps, but not so much for overnight use. You put them on when it is already dark, but as you move around in bed, the mask shifts. By morning—when it's no longer dark—it is no longer covering your eyes.

Unless you tighten it too much (which could make it uncomfortable and keep you from sleeping well), it is hard to keep it in place all night.
