Because if you actually season your food you go through the smaller ones too fast.

Just a heads up... This is what most companys call "fine powder" vs granulated garlic. I'm personally not a fan of the fine powder at all and prefer the granulated stuff. Especially if I'm sprinkling it on pizza.

Might not matter to others, but its worth pointing out.

Don't know why people bother buying seasonings in bulk when buying the smaller ones come out to the same price.

I've not tried this version, but their roasted garlic powder is my go to.

Great brand, quality is as good as McCormick, and they have some of the best seasoning blends.

Unfortunately, a lot of companies sell granulated but call it powder. There's a difference in texture and taste between the two. Sometimes I use both in a recipe. I normally use the fine powder for soup and sauce recipes where I want it to disappear, granulated for others such as when making my own SPG or sprinkling directly on food. Dried minced garlic is also pretty good in a pinch if you run out of fresh.

I agree. Not sure why people thumb you down when you can get 3.4 oz of garlic powder for $1.24 of the Great Value stuff at Walmart regular price.

But, some folks don't have access to that. Perhaps this Badia deal is worth it, or they may prefer Badia's extra powdery texture. That's why I am glad anyone takes the time to post any deals.

The majority of garlic we use is imported from China. Whether or not that is a problem, I don't know, I'm just saying that this is a very common sourced from China food, unlike apples in your grocery store.
