Just an FYI, these are basically appearance only, as you'd likely expect at the price point. The black body portion shatters from a 2 ft drop after a little time in the sun. They have their place, but they're basically less secure than a carabiner clip.

This lock would probably be a 3 minute video from lockpicking lawyer that would make me think it's a tough lock but it'll be him talking trash for 2:40 minutes and then getting into it in 15 seconds.

I use a twist-tie as my TSA approved travel lock. Never been opened or cut, and I think the agents don't quite know what to do with it.

My mom got these and I managed to yank it apart in a few seconds. Someone could also easily smack this off with the butt of a pistol or the sun itself could destroy it.

They work fine for travel, use them all the time on duffle bags BUT if the TSA wants to inspect your bag (which isn't too common if you don't pack food or other no-no's), then you'll be missing a lock when it comes out the other side. Frankly I'd rather a $3 lock that can't be forced open* with a ballpoint pin that might get cut off in a 1 in 50 chance vs a $10 TSA approved doll house lock which probably isn't worth using to begin with. Might as well use stainless zip ties over most travel locks.

*And yes, I do realize these locks aren't that great in comparison to actual locks meant for HD use, but on luggage they no where near the weakest link compared to the bag or zipper.

great for the home electrical box to send kids to the next house to prank and for the side gate where people can't really access it to pick easily. got 4 for an extra 10% off.

For $3 a piece, these have a purpose. Gym is another. Not that a determined thief can't break in within a few seconds.. more for the purpose of people opening the locker door thinking it's empty and leaving it wide open

These would probably be fine for the main breaker panel on your home, or as child's bike lock where the bike is basically worthless.
