Now they seem to have some type of deal weekly. They probably know that their price is a little high.

A bit tastier? You're being kind. Wendy's isn't even in the same league as Habit. It's easily worth the 50 cent premium or whatever it might be in your neighborhood. And not just taste but presentation too. Unwrap a burger at a random McDonald's or Wendy's and compare it to what you get at Habit.

Their prices are pretty normal to me (for generally inflated fast food pricing.)

Their double char with cheese is $8.49 in NJ
Wendy's Dave's double is $7.99

I tend to think their burger is a bit tastier and slightly more real, like smashburger or shake shack than typical fast food fare.

Yeah, the combo deals are a clear sign they are struggling a bit. I think we are going to see a lot of fast food places start to try and figure out ways to bring in customers. I've noticed that a lot of restaurants are far less busy now.

They changed the salads! They're no longer the ones that were good! Now they're a spring mix type of salad. The burgers seem to have gotten smaller as well. $10 for a double char the size of a double double.

Had their $8 combo the other day and despite it being only a half chicken sandwich, it hit the spot for lunch. Planning to get 3 others to grab lunch and use the coupon, making it $6 a combo. One of the few places that makes good green bean fries.

The coupon doesn't work on the combo deals

Anybody knows how this chain compares to Five Guys?
Are their fries fresh cut, or frozen?
I'm assuming the patties are not frozen...I hope???

Wendy's is undoubtedly a better pick for value, you just have to make sure to use the offers they have daily. Or choosing the biggie meals. Taste wise, maybe habit is a bit better? I'll have to try it again but they always take forever. Even when I mobile order it 10 minutes ahead I usually end up waiting another 5 to 10 minutes

Better value -- make it at home. You can do it up the way you want, with the fixings you want, on the schedule you want.
