I don't think the concern is the grade of the phone. It's trying to warranty if it the screen does or battery goes. 1 year isn't enough piece of mind for a $500 plus phone
Most phones (ie. $1500 iPhone Max, pixel fold 2, etc) have 1 year warranties

A+ Grade Refurb
256GB $479.99
512GB $549.99

Yes has 1 year vendor warranty with gmail but people reported on last deal they received practically like new.

For an extra $20, i would avoid these as there are too many downsides the biggest being Verizon "unlocked". Meaning it comes with Verizon bloatware.

Hey, you there! These Pixel Folds are in A+ condition, practically new! Sourced from a returns program, they've barely been used and have been fully tested for quality and performance. The phones are Verizon models, but they are fully unlocked to work on all US Carriers now. A 1-year vendor-backed warranty is included (details linked below).

Also Verizon unlocked means permanently locked bootloader.

What does this mean?
It means it's some dude selling them that couldn't even bother to get an email domain that looks business like.

Woot shows these as new. If they're new, wouldn't they be covered by Google directly in terms of warranty? Are these refurbs?

I got one of these a week ago from Woot. It came in brand new condition. Never activated. Love the form factor as compared to Z Fold. The front screen is much more useful and it fits into a pocket easily. Performance wise, it is good but I am not a heavy user (e.g. gaming)

how they are new if vendor is providing warranty and not Google... this seems a bad deal compared to previous one.
or vendor saw the craze about this model in last deal, and now selling same A+ refurbished as New...

This seems like a different seller than the previous refurb deal so the whole GMAIL email address for support doesn't apply here. If you actually took the time to read the warranty information there seems to be a legitimate number for questions and that number seems to bring you to a company called Back in the Box which seems like they have a somewhat legitimate website and business.
With that being said I don't think this is a terrible deal for a NEW unit. Somewhere around $500 would have been tremendous.

I found one New one eBay when this was first posted as a refurbished for $529 and used a coupon and gift card to get it for $330

It arrived on Friday the 13th and was indeed New in sealed box. GA04411-US the Google Unlocked version. It had about 5% battery and was on Android 13. The phone offered an update to A15 and I passed on that and went to the A16 beta 2. I didn't really care for the default launcher and put Smart launcher 6 on it. This fixed allot of the things I didn't care for in the stock one.

The phone is working out great for me, same battery performance I was getting with a P7P with over 45% battery left when I got home every evening. Both screens are very nice and the phone is in a great form factor. Very comfortable to hold and use both open and closed. I have insurance on my devices through AT&T so I think I have that covered well enough.

Bottom line, if your considering a fold for the first time this one is a great one to start off on.
