Nice deal. Now if he would just finish the freaking series. And give us a proper ending unlike the show. Here we are waiting for the pizza but all we have gotten is floppy weiners......
Kindle?
Apple Books?
Google Play?
Kobo?
Barnes and Noble?
Please explain why.
(I would greatly appreciate it)
I'm more interested in feature differences, pros/cons, etc. Of both the reading experience and the platforms.
- Text to voice
- Audiobook syncing
- Discounts / Promotions
- Better viewing, searching, reading experience.
I understand being frustrated giving more money to Amazon, or Apple, or Google, etc. I don't want to either.
I also don't want to get spread too thin between different platforms.
Amazon Kindle is easy for me because I'm a prime memeber, I also use Audible, so the fact that books can sync between Kindle and Audible is helpful.
Plus every time I choose slow shipping on Amazon, I get free credits to buy digital books.
But... I'd love to know if Apple, Google, Kobo, or BN have some unique feature or benefit.
I have also learned how to listen to Kindle books with Text to speech, so I don't have to buy the Audible version. The iOS ai voice is good, but not great. Audible with an actor or the author is far better, but many Audible books I have paid for a very bland/boring, and no better than text to speech.
I'm curious if the other platforms have text to speech? If so, how good is it?
Thank you for any information, feedback, and suggestions.
I sincerely appreciate anyone who takes the time. 🙏

He probably hasn't figured out a way to wrap it up, writers block. Plus the crap which was seasons 7 and 8 are probably bouncing around in his head making things worse.

Weird, I have the first two "standard" edition books, and then bought the last three enhanced edition books. I decided for three bucks I'd complete the first collection, but this set is treated separately. Rather than showing I own all five books, it still says I own the first two and invites me to buy the later three. Meanwhile this set is a separate collection with all five books smashed together. I wasn't expecting that.

They both wrote themselves into a spot they don't know how to get themselves out of. I would be greatly surprised if either series ever got a book again.
