Lexar is a good brand, and the price looks good.
Only downsides: Not UHS-II: So it's not ideal for ultra high-end 8K video or pro camera workflows, or not ideal for high bitrate 4K. Also and obviously not good for repeated writing (Dashcam-that is your dashcam is capable of handling this size).

It should make a great buy for Nintendo Switch, drones, GoPro users, phones, tablets, extra storage, or likewise (Device capable of handling 512GB).

Lexar was a good brand in the past when American owned. They are owned by Longsys now and I doubt I would trust anything I cared about to this card. I would wait for a Sandisk deal.

Would this be good for a DAP, or would the transfer rates be annoying for transferring large FLAC collections. I know moving Pictures and videos from my phone to my computer takes forever because of all the buffering. I have a new DAP on the way to me from China and this seems like a good complement for that.

Agree. Lexar use to be top tier (back in early 2000's). Then they just started putting out overpriced low performing junk. This might be fine for unimportant tasks but would pass if intending to use for archival purposes.
