software is almost unuseable the knob is super bad to navigate. Also it is not default to audio control but mini screen menu which is super annoying to use

Hardware on Aula keebs are mostly legit, but the software is absolute dog vomit. Avoid unless you need only default functionality.

I keep getting TikTok ads for this brand and it looks good from afar.

Is there a generic software that can be used to reprogram the keys?

Any good gaming mechanical wireless KB suggestions? Currently having a ducky 2 mini (wired) and searching for a wireless bigger option.

actually bought this on amazon recently and returning it now to buy this. Software wasn't that bad to use. Easy to customize gifs. Color change is fine. Macros aren't bad to setup. The knob navigation is not as bad as people put it. It doesn't default to volume though. Feels good to type on and for the price no complaints.

That could depend on your preference for layout, and do you prefer low-profile or standard caps

what you have is 65% i think I never use that small keyboard so no input

I haven't used too many keyboards. Here is what I tried and kind of liked

75% LEOBOG Hi75C, Nuphy Kick75(low-profile)

87%(TKL) ATK Z87 pro,

98% RK S98(if you need switch between two devices this keyboard is super smooth, really wish this is full layout, that could fit perfect in my current need and I can stop my keyboard hunting)
SKN blue dragon 4.0

Full layout: I am still looking, waiting for my Ganss GS3108T pro to arrive from China to try it out. I tried like 9 full layout keyboards from Amazon, I don't like any of them. lol only one I kinda like is 8-bitdo 108 typing is very nice but front too high, and the battery is super small

Also there are other brands that can't go wrong, like Keychron, Razer etc

For a full layout, check out the GMK104 by Zuoya. QMK/VIA compatible, but it comes as a barebones kit, so you'll need to supply switches and key caps yourself.

I'll stick with my Redragon K580 that has a better reputation and costs less.

I have this keyboard - what everyone says about the software is true, it is unusually tough to use, esp for an Aula. The knob is not very precise (ex the program will register a rotation before the physical knob hits the next physical click)

Aside from this, it is a pretty nice keyboard. There aren't many options for full-sized mechanical keyboards that are a decent quality when stock/without mods, especially at this price point. Although sometimes fidgety, it is nice to use the screen for settings instead of having to memorize a bunch of key combinations.

If priority is full size, feel & sound, tri mode connectivity, and all at a lower price point, this is pretty good - I bought this for $95 and was satisfied (knob worked enough, I didn't care abt software that much).

If you're looking for great software/high quality knobs, this probably isn't it. Keychron will probably be a better fit for those purposes

To be honest.. no sure why one would need software for this keyboard. I do agree the screen/knob is really bad for navigation but I only use it for volume/mute and it is perfectly adequate for this. Typing on this keyboard right now which is a pleasure... great deal/great keyboard! I use a keyboard for typing... that is its most important feature and this one rocks! The rest are just gimmicks/extras - not as important and for this price - the keyboard is amazing!

I have an Aula keyboard I got from Amazon on a sale, works super well and has pretty damn good build quality too. Love the linear switches it came with.

I ended up buying two of the same ones, for home and office.

I get why you'd want to save money, but at least on Amazon you can return it.

I've bought from what geek, and they will ship broken bad items, or even wrong items, and then try to get you to keep it, by giving a discount. And then if you return it they give you a shipping address in China, and require you to pay to return it, but the shipping address is fake.
You can just do a search and find stories, but they are banned from the trusted vendor list on places like kbd news or Alex or mechanical keyboards for a reason.
