I've had this device for over 15 months and it's been a game-changer for my 120 mile RT commute to San Diego 3 days per week. I use it on a 2022 Corolla Hybrid which is one of the most compatible cars with Comma (full start/stop). I've also used it on the occasional trip up to Northern California and it's been a god-send. I occasionally use it on my wife's 2019 Pilot as well as I bought an extra harness and power supply. For a long-distance commute, it really does take the edge off of driving. I find myself arriving at home and at work so much more relaxed. The benefit of my commute is it's mostly 50 miles of open driving on the I-5. I sit in the 3rd lane at 70mph and just let it do it's thing. A bit of traffic in the Carlsbad area is easily handled and cannot recommend this device enough.

Ya this isn't a product you wait for... Every freeway mile without it could be sooo much better. I bought at $3k and not one part of me wishes I waited.

Am I missing something about you this? I looked up my car, found it was on the list but it says it adds lane assist and adaptive cruise control, but it only works on cars that came from from the factory with lane assist an adaptive cruise control. So what do you gain from this? I feel like I'm missing part of the story

I bought this at $999 a few months ago and it has made 5+ hour road trips significantly less fatiguing. I'm a lot more willing to drive instead of fly knowing that I can rely on the comma to handle most of the work.

It's going to keep dropping in price, the market is super niche.

Hello Neighbour, how did you install it in your car. was it DIY? Does installing this voids car warranty? i have a honda accord 2020 and it has full honda warranty till 2028. i am thinking if getting this
Very easy to install (there is a youtube video showing how simple it is). It's completely removeable, so I unhook it before taking my car in for service. I bought it 3 years ago for $2,000, and I would still purchase it again at that price. I've used it for over 30k miles. The best example is a trip from Los Angeles to San Jose (about a 5-6 hours drive), and I touched the steering wheel for probably a cumulative 15 minutes while on the freeway.

I've been using Comma for over four years on my then new Prius. Toyota, during free service work, never asked questions. This is excellent for long trips. Before Comma I'd feel tired and restless after a long drive. Now I take day long trips and feel fine. This is not for urban driving, but is perfect for mindless open roads. I even engage when doing short drives. I absolutely would buy again without a second thought.
Until someone actually uses it on a long drive, they will not understand just how much Comma does "make driving chill".

Had this installed in my 2017 Subaru forester. Worked like a charm on Sunnypilot. It had some issues with shimmying between the lane. Needs more development https://imgur.com/a/8IVdXTS

I drive a Tesla model y juniper now. FSD is on another level but won't be subscribing after the trial period. I wouldn't mind installing a comma once it becomes supported. Autopilot isn't very good from what I've tried, i'll have more time to play with it after my FSD expires.

You don't get the warning to put your hands on the wheel. But you must remain vigilant, as it's not actually autonomous driving. Still, it greatly reduces the stress of driving. You won't understand until you actually try it. If you have a long road trip planned, buy it and try it for the 30 days trial period. You will keep it.

I've been using Comma 3x almost a year in my 23 Chevy Bolt, and it's the best thing ever, especially for highway trips.

Driving is so 2024. This will get obsolete as soon as jetpacks hit the market.

Keeps the car centered by maxing the steering torque. No more hands-on-the-wheel nag. My 2017 Subaru Forester came with poor LKA that had a hard time recognizing lane lines and would make the car ricochet between lane lines. With the comma it will be locked in the center of the lane and better at predicting the forward path. It's an affordable way to upgrade your LKA. Take it with you after selling the car. I'm not sure but your car has to have the built in motor for driving the steering wheel and accelerator. I'm sure some cars have these parts but still charge extra for lane assist and cruise control.
