These are garbage batteries. Replaced to my door lock multiple times and it still said low batteries. I changed to name brand or even the yellow Amazon basic battery my door lock got no issue. That why these batteries is so cheap it is just a shell without power. lol

I've heard these are garbage. Want a good deal? Get the acdelco AAA and AA combo pack with 100 of each type for $50 or less with a sale. They're $42.58 right now. Less with S&S

UGH, my AC Delco AAAs drained 3x faster than anything else. Must have gotten unlucky.

We had a power outage and I opened the new box of AC Delco AAAs thinking we were all set. By the end of the day they were all dead, and the lanterns (idtentical models) with the old pack of whatever store brand batteries I had bought prior were still going strong. Been avoiding AC Delco brand ever since. Not scientific, just personal bad experience.

It's hard for me to see rechargeable batteries ever fully taking over when their competition can be as low as 10% of price. How are they still this far apart 30+ years into this technology?

I think many of us would be happy to make more environmentally friendly purchasing decisions but it's hard to justify at that difference. Even if some of these were to be dead on arrival you're likely still way ahead on cost and convenience vs. rechargeable batteries at $1+ per.

We've used rechargeable batteries exclusively for many years, they've more than paid for themselves and are very easy to manage.

I tried these out last year. I was getting 2-4 weeks out of the AA in my Yale door locks. The Kirkland batteries last about 6 months.

So what's the point of these batteries than to be industrial? Show a client how well your product works when you have Duracell/Energizer batteries in it, then switch out the brand name ones for these so the customer feels like they got a deal along with free batteries?

NiMH batteries can be recharged hundreds of times. Even at 10x the price of throwaways they are a bargain.

I never understood what an "industrial" battery is. Seems like it should be tougher, but I never really see any difference in performance.
