I was needing a new set of security cams, and didn't want to drill holes to wire it up. The s340 beat out the competition. spent a couple weeks looking for good deals, didn't see any until now.

if we consider the homebase + 1tb hd at around 130, it brings each of the cameras down to ~132 before tax.

edit: updated, they added more savings and a free floor lamp. I've asked for a price match

Same camera but with different model number (S3) is at Costco usually $150 but on sale $130 few times now, picked couple up last month

How is this compared to the RING cameras (garage, back light, doorbell)?
We are moving houses soon and I wouldn't mind new cameras as long s it makes sense financially. We only pay $10 for the Ring cloud storage.

Wish they hadn't gotten rid of the spotlight cameras. Now they're all PTZ and the camera is much more obvious.

There's no monthly subscription.
The Homebase has a 1TB hard drive that stores your videos and images in your house so you don't have to pay for cloud storage.
