What makes the other options better? (Besides being cheaper). I have a cheaper one and it feels cheap. The Dell feels much more solid but is much more expensive. I'm open to a middle road monitor.

InnoView has a USBC/HDMI with HDR and a touchscreen panel for $109. KYY has a USBC/HDMI with HDR and speakers for $70. VisionOwl is $99 with similar specs.
All are around 250nits brightness. All are IPS displays.
Honestly the lenovo doesnt stand out as anything special . Especially at the 1080p/ 60hz category

For the money.. this is a better bang for the buck. 2k. 400 nits. 120hz.

I have the 14" version. One of the neat features is there are 2 usb-C and it supports pass through charging meaning you can have wall charger plug in to monitor and when you plug in to laptop.. it will charge the laptop too. I've only tested with 45w, not sure how high the pass through is.

The hinge stand is very sturdy so it will not tip over unlike "protective case folding stands".

It's a productivity monitor -- not some wiz bang cinema experience. Adjust your expectations accordingly.

Read my other reply. For "productivity" you can get a 10 point touchscreen with the same size, resolution and brightness for $20 less.

One of those cheaply constructed ones with a six-letter ALL CAPS name that was created by someone smashing their fist on an English keyboard. Yeah. Good luck with that.

This lenovo is built like a tank. It has a solid base with no wobble, unlike those "stand cases" that fold worse than wet origami. And it has USB-C power passthrough. You get what you pay for. I have the 14" version of this, and it's stellar. But hey, at least you SAVED a whole $20.

On lenovo.com, it's showing as $94.99 for me when signed in to my account as an "exclusive loyalty price."

Why is the person who is offering cheap alternatives getting dumped on?

Because the "cheap alternatives" aren't equivalents. Not even remotely close.

"Hey, you hungry? Need food quickly? EAT GRASS." <-- you'd give that grief, mostly because it's asinine and not a genuine solution to the issue at hand.

I paid slightly more than this for a 16" 16:10 OLED 1800p 120hz monitor, this price makes no sense, regardless of the build quality.

curious on Lenovo vs. other brands, which seems to not make real monitors, whether there are really difference regarding quality or Lenovo ones are also marked from same oem factory.
