why is flip straw better? My friend recommended this one because it's easy to replace straw

Ease of cleaning and hygiene, regular straw , but I prefer a flip straw too for its ability of leak protection. With a flip straw version, I make sure to clean an internal connector at least once per two weeks.
They threw mine in a bag, and the straw got damaged
