I'm not sure if this is YMMV, but if you use the promo code GETKINDLE15, you could get an additional 15% off. Not sure if this is combinable with the trade-in deal. Ended up being $151.17 before tax.

The title of this post says "Deal of the Day." I don't see that on Amazon (but could easily be overlooking it) -- is this price just for today only? I was thinking of waiting to see if Amazon offers 10% cashback using their credit card or some other additional perk or discount if I wait for Prime Day. Currently they have 5% cb with their card, but 10% if you buy the kids' version. Don't want to wait to see if the deal gets better if this price is just for today, though.

I do not know, but they have prime days coming up on 7/8. You can always buy and decide later?

It's funny to me that wireless charging is a selling point on newer Kindles when you typically charge it like once every 1-2 months.

The 20% trade-in discount would be used, and I don't know if it would go right back on my account if I returned it, so buying again if a better deal came along probably would not work out to a better deal in the end. No worries, I'm not sure I even want the thing as I have the 2021 model. I'll probably buy, but if I miss it somehow, that's ok.

It's a good deal if you want the wireless charging dock. Otherwise it more of a slight discount on the Kindle since you can get well reviewed cases for like $10-12.

Does anyone know if the dock work with iPhones and other wireless charging devices?

I was able to stack a trade in + GETKINDLE15 and got the bundle for 119. Thanks OP!

I went through the trade in process, added bundle to cart, applied code and $10 for my trade in (2019 kindle fire)
