Unless Amazon has already patched it, you can always jailbreak it and install koreader. I'm using it right now on my Paperwhite. It's a muuuch better reading experience.

It's an option for the non bundle if you deselect the 3 months of Kindle

How you managed to get the trade-in link? That link isn't showing up for me. and what's this rewards point? Just your amazon card credit correct?

I was able to use the GETKINDLE15 first, then the trade-in with a 12 year old Kindle for the 32GB leather case combo. My total was $215.27 after tax, couldn't get it as low as other's have posted but pretty happy with that price.

I added the combo to the cart, put in the coupon code, opened another tab, went to the combo page and submitted the trade-in info, went to my cart on the new tab and the price was dropped down to $215.

I had been eyeing this for a while, I have an iPad Pro and have used it for notetaking and it just doesn't work well for me. The surface is too smooth, the screen doesn't have that paper look and the no bezel always led to inadvertent taps. Here's hoping it works out. Thank you all for the info!
Can you share the link of the product you purchased? None of the OPs combos show 20% trade-in credit to me.

GETKINDLE15 didn't work. So, either I take the $309 for original bundle or 30% (20% trade-in plus 10% amazon card) off of this slightly expensive one.

Ordered the 32GB Scribe prior to knowing about the GETKINDLE15 promo. Contacted customer service and they refunded me $35.62, although reason says damaged in transit, I'm sure it made the refund easier to process without further approval. Item(s) Subtotal:$279.99Shipping & Handling:$2.99Free Shipping:-$2.99Kindle Trade-In:-$56.00Total before tax:$223.99Estimated tax to be collected:$13.44Gift Card Amount:-$5.00Grand Total:$232.43Refund Total $35.62Total paid $196.81The picked up a leather folio for $38 like new. Missing out on the best deal with the bundle, but I think I came out okay.Sorry for the formatting, phone isn't letting me properly format.

I did the exact same thing. Chat provided the 15% discount after I ordered. My total with premium leather cover was $196.xx.

Right, went deep into the rabbit hole on this one. Look for the leather (plant or genuine) premium bundles and you'll get the 20% trade in promo.Sorry for the URL spam but:https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Kin...r=1-3&th=1Is the 64GB version, there is a 16GB version that after the promo is about 250 USD. Here is my order for the 16GB: Item(s) Subtotal: $307.97 Shipping & Handling: $0.00 Kindle Trade-In: -$61.59 Total before tax: $246.38 Doesn't seem to have the 20% off for the regular leather option, but the price is the same for premium leather.I'm actually allergic to anything polyester so I'm kind of forced to go with geniune leather.
Curious how you identified your polyester allergy? Knew it all along or a later in life epiphany?

on phone / pardon brevity. Started having issues about four years ago in my mid-forties. Contact dermatitis on my fingertips - as if I had a small burn by putting my fingers on a stove for a quick second. Just kept on getting worse, along with all sorts of other shit, heart palpitations, emotional AF, headaches, itchy scalp (hat with a polyester lining). temples and nose burned (plastic from glasses), raynaud's syndrome in my hands and feet, etc. Still, it wasn't acute nor immediate so it took about a year, year-and-a-half of freaking out, going to doctors on things like multiple sclerosis, etc. before I started to put two and two together.

Biggest thing that made it clear it was a plastic allergy was getting in ceramic keycaps, fingers finally stopped bothering me, and titanium glasses with titanium nose bridges - over the next year or so I started to realize it was everything plastic and polyester, etc. Raynaud's syndrome finally subsided when I started wearing cotton gloves on just about anything I touched, and stopped wearing any clothing that wasn't 100% cotton/wool.

Still figuring it out / identifying stuff, but doing a hell of a lot better than I was two years ago... but is obviously a major PITA to navigate.

YMMV, I was able to get the rep to apply 15% off towards the kindle scribe via Chat
Though he only applied 15% off towards the kindle scribe not the cover and power brick.

Got the like new leather folio in the mail. Arrived with no packaging of any kind. Contacted customer service, as I truly feel Amazon needs to be held to their stated condition on their used items. Original packaging should have been present. The rep actually just immediately refunded me, so I imagine they know they are selling folios missing the packaging.

What a story - thank you for sharing. I also deal with annoyingly mild / persistent symptoms that feel allergy related and have struggled to tie them back to a root cause. Glad to hear it's improving for you, gives me some hope… good luck and hope it keeps getting better.
