I have the game and I think that's honestly a fair way to put it. It's not perfect, but doesn't lag to the point where it impacts the overall enjoyment of the game. You can mainly tell on replays, pre-game cinema, etc.

I have an old 2k game on Switch. There is a setting to speed up gameplay. The default is atrociously slow. Like RDR2 getting around slow. Bumped it up and it's much more fluid.
