I hope the rumors are true about the Fold 7. I'm tired of samsung making narrow candy bar sized folding phones with little change and innovation when China has beaten them 3-5 times over in the folding phone tech

Make sure you try out the fold for more than a few minutes.

Coming from my s23 ultra, it's probably the worse phone I've used in terms of physical usability. Luckily the phone was from work.

The screen is tiny if you're used to larger phones for typing (I have medium sized hands). It's quite heavy and thick, even compared to my s23 ultra -- I can no longer hold it in one hand and use it like I do with my s23 for scrolling stuff. I ended up using my Motorola edge instead of the fold (didn't swap back to the s23 yet at the time).

Had this, returned for the 25ultra. Never used the large screen because no app supported the resolution. Always had the black bars to fill the empty space.

My Fold 4 hinge stopped working correctly after 1.5 years of usage. It requires repair. The foldable phones are too much of a hassle imo
