That was an open-box and not new.
New was $1075 lowest, and it was in Feb, which was 5 months ago.

Problem is, laptops are actually more expensive than they were before amidst GPU shortage and dollar getting 7% less valuable. We also still have tariff concerns on the table(although TACO seems more likely on this end).
As for the laptop itself, If you can get these under $1000, these are incredible. Nothing comes close to it in its category.

For gaming, especially at 4060 laptop levels in a 14" chassis it's not an issue. For heavy office work, programming etc it COULD be an issue depending on your workloads.
