These are hands down the best containers I've used. They're light. Leak proof. Stain proof. Dishwasher and microwave safe. …..but they don't last long 2 years or so. They'll last longer if you don't use them in the microwave or dishwasher. But they'll eventually crack and then leak. So I'm torn on these.

I own the glass version of these and unless the lids were the weak point. Liquids will leak if the container isn't stored flat, because the seal isn't compression fitted. Even though I handwashed them, the rubber seal split and the lids cracked.

5-pack with lids.
Stop with the marketing garbage.

On another note: the Brilliance line is good. Just go for the glass over the plastic.

Because they offer glass containers which are quite good at their purpose.

I agree but it's so hard to avoid completely. Do you have a preferred specific alternative product to this?

The Brilliance line is great. We use them and wash them in the dishwasher exclusively. No cracks or problems that others here seem to experience. We don't microwave as much in plastics as others do though. We do have two of the casserole-sized glass Brilliance containers which are great for dinners or the holidays. We also have Brilliance glass 4.7 cup (I think) which is a good size. Many have lids that are interchangeable. They stack well in the fridge and as they are so clear, they help you see what you have.

At this price you can't lose. TU and repped.

I have a bunch of these containers and they're generally very good but one thing I would advise everyone on is that the latches break rather easily. They're clipped on one side and it's a very small pin on the other side that likes to sheer off. Now the upside is that you can still clip the lid onto the container with it and it stays fine, open though it doesn't stay on the lid though. The lids also seal so good they can be hard to get off. Personally, prefer the glass container ones with these lids for like leftovers (so they can go right in the oven) and then use the plastic ones for dry kitchen goods like ingredients.
I've never had one break in the 6+ years.

You must not have kids

Agreed, if they did then all of them would be randomly hidden around the house and not in the pantry!

Those small portions kill it for me. If it's that small a portion, I will just finish it. Yes, 230 lbs.

Completely agree, I actually moved more toward their glass brilliance containers and just need to replace the lids when those start to crack.

Agree with everyone on the glass set. I use 12 a week at minimum for meal prep and no leaks and no issues for years now. The plastic ones had superficial warping with boiled liquids and that made me move towards glass which can handle the microwave reheat and high heat dishwasher just fine.
