For the knowledgeable people on here, looking to backup the whole house in case of outage for multiple days. Wondering if this is a perfect solution with an additional solar panels that's I can set up in the back yard if needed for longer period to use. Would like to take advantage of the rebate before it expires and would like to get a "deal" if this is one. Thanks in advance for any information. I just started researching all this

So it advertises 12kwh for almost a week of power which is not possible at all. For reference my home use with just basic things running overnight (fridges, etc) uses about 0.7-0.8 kW. Running an HVAC draws about 4-5 kw. EV about 8-11kw (just less than level 2), depending on which EV. Additionally Ford and GM EVs have roughly 80-100kwh battery packs and they only advertise approximately 3 days of backup so not sure how eco flow can do 1 week on 12kwh. My thought is you would need multiple of those battery packs. I have 2 Tesla powerwall 2 for a total of about 26-27kw and if I run my 2 HVACS (8-9kw) they would be drained in about 5ish hours. Solar would help to charge those ecoflow packs as opposed to the grid.
