Duracell from Costco. The original battery lasts about a year. After that, I didn't have much luck getting airtag to work or acknowledge new battery.

For what it's worth, I quit using Duracell about 10 years ago. They would corrode in all my flashlights, motion lights, remotes, etc. They would even corrode while still in the package. I don't store them improperly. As for why your AirTags completely stop working, I have no clue and haven't had others report the same issue.
