I didn't even know that the 2s still have the static issue, have multiple sets one 1s with the issue, so yeah I have a feeling I'll wait or at least pick up the Apple care if I grab these. Ty!
It's MagSafe and usb-c. They are just distinguishing it from the MagSafe lightning cases.
I have 2's and no static issues.
