Based on reviews the XM6's are a good enough upgrade, so if you want the latest might as well jump on those. Though I'm surprised they are already on Secondipity. They were just launched. They already have refurbs in volume? That's a bit surprising.
Yes, that's kinda obvious. They are almost always returns (rather than repairs). I assume they just get cleaned up and sold. Don't know if they get checked otherwise. My guess is that bulk of them are straight up returns without any real issues.
I bought my XM4s from Secondipity in the past. They came looking brand new, but had the previous owner's pairing information.
What I was saying is that I'm surprised they already have a high enough volume of XM5 returns that close to launch. It was available in all colors, so was surprising. But who knows — maybe that's normal.
