Mine expired more than a year.

All 3 I've opened had a scoop.

Taste is individual preference. i think it tastes good for a sweetened/flavored protein (My favorite is unflavored).

There is 1,050 gr. of protein in a 3 lb tub of this for $25. You would have to buy 7.5 lbs. of boneless skinless chicken breast in order to get the same amount of protein.
Now all you have to do is figure out your price per pound for chicken breast.
I always hold out for $2/lb. if I'm going to purchase it at all.
So, $15.
I imagine it depends on where you live as to what you can purchase chicken breast for that are boneless/skinless.
As you mentioned, determine convenience; you have to prepare (cook and clean-up) the chicken or you have to just stir a quick shake.

Same, my normal brand is Transparent Labs but their vanilla is awful IMO, followed by CBUM's Raw line which you used to be able to order from Sams, but no longer. Not a big fan of all the extra crap in the ingredient list though.

maybe blend it with some vegetables to cut the sweetness or something acidic like citrus fruits, or even vinegar.

I didn't think it was excessively sweet, but it is sweet. I think it depends what you mix it with too. If you mix it with more bland ingredients it'll tone it down maybe, such as oats and banana

I mix mine with PB Fit. Choc peanut butter classic flavor. Doesn't take much PB to dramatically alter the flavor. Really, really good.
