The solar input is 12v-60v/20 amp max. Most residential panels will work for this, the normal ~35v to 40v panels connected in parallel will max out at 700w-800w which is enough to charge the powerstation up in a day (4-5 hours of sun) of solar if you aren't pulling large loads. For fixed panels, check facebook marketplace for used deals in your area. I got 360w Qcells for $100 a piece. 2-3 panels will let you max out the input most days if you can position them well. If you want new panels that can ship, four of the eco-worthy 180w bifacials in a 2s2p string for $320, seems like a decent deal. https://slickdeals.net/f/18426586-eco-worthy-bifacial-195-watt-12v-solar-panel-80-free-shipping?utm_term=556173&utm_medium=share&utm_campaign=ddp-simplified-sharing&utm_source=desktop_redesign&utm_content=deal
Portable panels are much more pricey, I'd keep an eye on slickdeals and when a good deal comes up on 200+w, buy two. Keep in mind portable panels aren't intended to be used 24/7, 365 days a year. Most will break down in about 2-3 years if left outside all the time. Go with the residential glass panels if you want to use them constantly.
Also if you are using this in a van/truck/camper, the charger one accessory is $200 now on sale but will charge at 500w while you are driving. For van life a bit of modification to use that in your vehicle will fill your power needs better than most solar panels.

Thanks for the details, I bought 2 of these zoupw 450w portables, but I think I should just keep one and make a residential panel set up. Is there anything else I need to look out for in terms of used panels? N types? or just around 40c per watt? I have some S energy 325w SN325p-10 panels around me for sale for 90, do you think 3 of these will work? Thank you

On all of these power stations i always work them extra hard for the first month or so (during the return/refund period) to test them for stability.

Drain 100 to 0 multiple times in this period and it helps put the mind at ease that they will last for many years to come. After this initial period i try and keep them above 20% but do also full drain them every once in a while to make sure the BMS's are keeping good tabs on battery health
What return period. All of these are non returnable it seems.

you can use any type panel you like. The only thing that matters is staying within the input range, deciding how many watts worth of panel you want to buy, and to a smaller extent if using multiple panels, if you want to run them parallel or series which each has their pros/cons. That's it. That's all that matters functionally. All the rest of the stuff pretty much is just preference with asthetics, size, etc. i saw someone mention getting used household or commercial panels. I 100% agree with that and is what I do. I have 4 300w Canadian Solar panels i picked up several years ago for $80ea. Size, looks, etc don't matter to me. I keep them stacked up in the shed, and during an extended outage like post hurricane, I just drag them out and prop up in the yard to connect to my power stations.

I was generalizing ALL power stations, not just these ones, not just ones purchased online, etc

I suggest the same ideology in basically everything in life... if something is going to fail, its much better for it to fail recently after you purchase than throwing it in a closet, pulling it out a year later and finding out it doesnt work

After 4+ years of closely following the solar generator space since starting VanLife, I've found Bluetti clearly outpaces Jackery.

Jackery was the first major name in the game and rode that wave of brand recognition for years—think Xerox or Kleenex. But while Jackery stalled on innovation, Bluetti stepped in and pushed the tech forward. Now Bluetti leads the industry with cutting-edge advancements, while Jackery scrambles to catch up. For me, it's Bluetti every time.

The link goes to the elite 200 v2. Is it wrong? At least one gets now TWO usb-c ports. For 2kw what should be a reasonable price?
This is an incredible price and getting a 2k leading brand for the price of a 1,500-2k budget brand regular price.

More battery cycles, longer useful life, cheaper, quicker charging, more outlets, larger inverter, faster UPS...

Because of the batteries, mailing them back is expensive so unless they are faulty, you are stuck with them. As far as I know, this is standard for all brands.
