Just a heads up - I bought a 3*4 shelf like this (weighs 92 pounds), and Walmart had FedEx ground deliver it (not WM+ member). FedEx left this 92# box on the sidewalk in front of my house - so you may end up carriyng a 60-120 pound box up your driveway.

I got one better than that. Bought a 5x5 and Walmart shipped a 100+ pound box to my office. I had to go get a big enough vehicle to get the box home, an extra pair of arms to help move this huge thing. Unpacked it and it's actually 1 of 2 boxes! I called to complain that this was only half of what I bought, and they ended up running out of stock. No idea how many purchasers ended up with only half a set up. They only offered to cancel the purchase.
So I'm left with losses in getting a vehicle, fuel, extra labor, and I had to then dispose of a 100+ pound box of laminated particle board. I contacted Walmart customer service no less than 5 times to get a resolution, and they were not pleasant to deal with nor were they capable of resolving this issue reasonably.

so are you saying that them delivering to your office was their mistake? You must have entered the address where you want it shipped, isnt it?shake head

I hope you were involved in the deal thread. https://slickdeals.net/f/16884962-25-cube-better-homes-gardens-cube-shelf-5x5-13-cubes-walmart-com-88-free-shipping. I ended up making three orders to splice myself a color matched set. I ended up having to open the third box because I broke a ton of dowels, which should have been an ominous sign to stop. Putting a cube organizer that size was a nightmare on my slightly uneven living room tiles. Then I stupidly and gloriously had the built organizer break on me moving it to its final location. Walmart ended up making me ship all the broken pieces back to them to get my money back. What's relevant to this thread is that the first two packages were left by my garage door a good 100+ feet from my front door. At least for me Fedex picked up the boxes from my house.

No, I wanted the shipment sent to my office.
Walmart delivering half of a 5x5 was their mistake. The bill of materials for a 5x5 divides perfectly into two identical shipping boxes. They mistakenly sent one only, and I was unaware that the order was to arrive in two boxes. The shipment of 2 boxes wasn't identified in the bill of laden.
My expectation was to pay a reasonable price to purchase a full 5x5 set up, ship it to my office. I didn't plan on humping over 100 pounds of laminated particle stock back to the house and find out after tearing the cardboard open that it builds a roughly 2.5x5 shelf.
Thanks for the link midnighttraver, I wasn't part of it and didn't see it while I was busy trying to deal with Walmart customer support.
To make the story longer, this is what took place:
1) Walmart offered a refund.
2) They wanted me to package the box to return to Walmart, but I told them that the cardboard is totally shredded.
3) They said they can't pick it up if it's not boxed up, so keep the item. I told them that I have to specially arrange to have the oversized trash pick up this item. They said they'd give me a $25 gift certificate for my troubles.
4) I accepted the terms, and the customer rep said he needed to get approval to send me the gift certificate. 15 minutes later, he gets back to me and said his manager won't approve it. So I only got the refund.
5) I didn't follow up on the board comments but it looks like a lot of people got stuck with only half the shipped order. On my own, I used a circular saw and trimmed the pieces to create a make-shift 2.5x5 shelf. Yes, there are bare particle board ends. Yes, it looks ridiculously stupid. But it irked me to send all that material into the landfill without purpose. This free shelf will live out a few years in the garage with an alternative purpose.
