I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago for $550. It arrived beat to crap by FedEx. Damaged on all 4 sides and the top. I contacted Garvee and all they offered was $30 for compensation. I told them that was unacceptable and I requested a new outdoor unit be shipped and they stopped responding. I called Amex and got my money back through a charge dispute. Buyer beware, you're on your own if you buy one of these. I'm assuming the warranty is also worthless if they won't even provide a solution for shipping damage.

13' is fine for a garage, downstairs living room/kitchen install or an install onto a garage/porch roof. Gives you enough room to go through a wall and possibly a closet if need be. Way easier than trying to run tubing for a 25-50' stretch. Why pay for more if less will work. You can also buy additional 25' linesets for these for like $65 and a 50' roll of power cable for $30 although you'd have to add refrigerant.

Crazy how it doesn't officially state it anywhere. One of the reviews (from the end of June) says the refrigerant is r-410a.

I had no issues with a 13 feet line set. Just so everyone knows this is an aux brand.

Nice! You do this for a 2 or 3 car garage? How many BTUs is yours?

It says Professional Installation required... Is this just lawyer talk?
I know I can hook up the cables to my breaker box with a new breaker as well as the lines...
I am just wondering if I need HVAC tools to flush or vacuum the lines as part of the install, or if it pre-charged/vacuumed/self-flushing like some of the others like Mr. Cool?

Would this be able to cool down my mmj 2000 watt grow? Asking for a friend.

Most walls are not 13' thick but more like 1'. Thirteen minus one gets us 12' of play to place the outdoor unit. Mine was 16' and was really much to much for me and I had about two foot of wall to get through.

You don't need good luck if you need a longer line you just have to be aware you need one and order one.
