Love Kershaw and have like 10 knifes from them American made and Chinese models too. I just question Chinesium Kershaw for $50.

The bugout is so overpriced and overrated. Get a kizer drop bear. It's significantly cheaper and has a much better action than the bugout. High quality all around. Check it out on youtube

The action on this knife is very smooth. It's one of my favorite cheap knives. As far as the bugout like others have said don't waste your money. I got the kershaw bel air instead, mangnacut steel, better handles, and the action is great

I bought this same knife with a black handle last year for around the same price. It feels as good as more expensive American made knives. And it has by far the smoothest action on any knife I've owned. When opening the blade, it feels almost frictionless like a puck gliding across an air hockey table.

Kershaw Bel-Air is a strong recommendation over a Bugout. Magnacut with aluminum and can usually find them for $130 or less.

IDK what happened to Kershaw. Every deal they come up with is DOA.
D2 knives go off 20-30 now. It's not a big deal to put on D2 out.

The Bug Out is a great knife, and it is made in the USA, not China...

I second the Bel Air over a standard bugout. Way better action, and magnacut blade steel is phenomenal. Also USA made.

If you are looking sub $100, the Iridium isn't bad. Kershaw crossbar lock is pretty consistent throughout their models.

CJRB also has a decent crossbar in the Shale model. Steel is budget but it'll work for a light duty EDC. The new CJRB Bolt with the crossbar/sharklock combo looks interesting as well.

You could get both and a decent steak meal and still p
ay less than a bugout.

edit: i should add, if you want to stay in the USA made benchmade family, look at a Bailout. similar size to the bigout, similar steel, way cooler blade shape. depending on sales, sometimes cheaper too.

Nice. Real D2 steel, unlike that ozark trail junk knife with fake D2 they use for advertising
