This is a great charging station if you want every port to be capable of 15W or more power -- it's my to-go when I have a bunch of higher power devices like phones and tablets to charge relatively quickly.

Most other charging stations usually provide a single, high-power port for a laptop, with the remaining ports have to share 15-20W, which is fine if those are lower-power accessories, but not as ideal if you have a bunch of phones and tablets.

Extra bonus that it uses a 2-prong, detachable cable, which makes it travel friendly.

Thinking about this for my classroom where students always manage to forget to charge their Chromebooks. Anyone have any experience trying that with this device?

You'll want to check your Chromebook specs, but most these days take 45W of charge, and some take 65W. With this charger, you would only be getting 3x USB-C at 30W, 20W, and 20W, which will result in ~2x slower charge times.

Your scenario sounds like you would want maximum charge speed at the cost of desktop footprint, which is not what this charger is going for (6x modest power in a single box via a single outlet)

You would probably be better off buying as many 65W (generic) Chromebook USB-C power bricks as you can from Amazon or similar for $15 each. Cheers,

Great multi-charger for lots of devices sans laptops. I have 3 of these- one each for me and my wife on travel plus one for her bedside table too.
