I have the 2kw version paired with a Delta 2. I wasn't really satisfied with it due to the inability to charge it without the Delta, nothing about it was smart. But the alternator charger update has given it new life. The charger plugs directly into it and can charge it without being connected to the Delta.

Yes, the Alternator Charger is an 800 Watt vehicle charger. The plug is the same as the Delta/Smart Battery port. With a recent update the charger can charge the Extra Battery without connection to the Delta.
The price goes up and down depending on the time of the year. I caught it for $149 a couple of years ago around the end of the year, and it is pretty easy to install if you, or a friend, is used to working on vehicles. While Rving, I use solar when stationary and the Alternator Charger when on the road. This powers our morning coffee, my wife's hair dryer, microwave, and evening tv, and a little heater if we need it. I will even use a battery charger to move energy to the rv battery before we drive if I have the time to recharge the Delta. Ecoflow makes solid products.
