I usually prefer the more inconspicuous dash cams like the viofo A-series which are a little bit worse in quality but close at 1660p instead of this one at 2160p. The inconspicuous nature of this dash cam has saved my hide more than a couple of times.

Most of their "4k" cameras are upscaled, not real 4k. On top of that they use a wide angle lens so zooming in for license plate is more difficult.
Their higher end cameras are supposed to be real 4k but the 160, or even 170, angle takes away from the quality.
