Already covered in other threads this is nothing but a rehash of last years information and besides one memo sent this year by a house representative asking for review this has almost zero movement but in the REVERSE direction....... Since that old information by the lazy journalist TP-Link has devested and built a new parent company no longer tied to China, moved the global HQ to California, and even was accepted by our federal government into CISA...... So TP-Link has complied with every US request...

On top of it, this never had anything to do with HACKING, lol. It was price competition, since they sell their products for way cheaper than Asus, Netgear, and others and still make a profit, which hurts the other manufactures pockets so they cry to their lobbyist for help since they cant compete with their outrageous prices.

So always good to read and understand the Fake news before taking a random lazy journalists word for it.

damnnn I had to unfreeze experian and call them up to expedite getting the prime card and after all that I don't even have the 25% offer lol. Was going to rebuy and return the one I already ordered. Wonder if ordering one before getting the card affected the offer or I guess it's just luck?

I would guess it was because you already bought it at one point so its showing up under your account. Have a friend buy one for you and pay them cash, next best step. Im thinking after the return clears completely it might pop back up for you, but who knows how long that will take.

update the firmware and try to compare to my asus AX86U . ethernet is seem fine but WIFI is not impressive so far. i can barely get signal/connection from 30-40 ft from the router on my iphone 13 pro (2.4/5 ghz) / m4 ipad (6ghz). 86u can at least pick up 10-20mbps on 2.4ghz .

If you are using the MLO network SSID as your main network, thats why your range is shorter, turn off MLO in wireless settings and you should see increased range.
