Same. I have a John Deere rider but I'm sick of gas and all the maintenance. I was going to buy an ego but have read terrible customer service issues.

Anyone have any experience dealingwith Greenworks customer service and warranty repair?

This is 60V. The ones at Costco are 80V. Is the difference runtime or something else? Thanks

My neighbor has one and loves it. Its almost 1yr old and just quit working. 2 weeks of calling and nothing it randomly started and works again. Could be a lemon but for that reason alone im not touching this brand.

The question is how much are the replaceable batteries? and is it possible to replace it with better ones?

I can't speak to this rider but I have a walk behind on their 80v line and it's been solid for the last 3 years. The battery failed within the 1yr warranty and I submitted a claim. They just asked for proof of purchase, I emailed them a copy of the invoice and they sent me a replacement battery and never asked for the old one back. I tore down the old battery and found one bad cell. All the other 18650 cells were good so they now are part of my spares for my flashlights.

Customer service replaced a battery for a 40v tool I bought from Amazon but from what I've heard is repairs may be a problem.A guy I know works small engine repair and told me there were no greenworks repair shops in my area, Ocala Florida. I have a Deere rider and a self propelled greenworks 40v that I love. The Deere is 7, this is tempting. The batteries alone are about 1k
