No, the listing comes up as the bundle.

However, the OP also included a link to just the console if one doesn't want the bundle. As I said, reading is fundamental.

Nintendo should do trade in deals with the old switch
Gamestop was giving some good trade in deals just prior to the release. Not sure if they still are.

Nintendo would rather have the Switch 1 out in the wild as they are still actively developing and selling games for it.

Not to be that guy but.......SDHC/XC cards are supported to be used for storing, transferring, or viewing/watching photos and videos on the Switch 2. Just not for games or related data.

I bought one about a week after launch at Target just to see what the hype was about. Returned it yesterday. Mario Kart World is honestly not good compared to MK8. The battery life is poor. I'm not going to keep a $500 system around just to play Donkey Kong.

I dunno, maybe I just outgrew Nintendo.

I just can't convince myself to buy this with the swollen battery issue, battery indicator issue (showing wrong percentage charge), and limited run-time.

I feel like these are all issues that will be handled in a 2nd iteration/revised release of the console much like the original Switch. Only downside is...it'll likely take years for that revised version to release. For reference, original Switch had a revised release with improved battery life at the same price that released a little over 2 years after the original Switch released.

Yup and they know majority people will buy Mario Kart World so it's a no brainer to buy bundle n save.
I would much rather have the physical media.

There was a lot of speculation on launch on why Amazon did not have any listed. Nintendo came out and said that they were not freezing Amazon out of the launch.

Now I am wondering if Amazon though their Q2 numbers was good enough. So they could hoard their allocation to make a Prime Day splash and drive traffic and improve their Q3 numbers!

The switch 2 didn't flop in sales but yet it kind of feels like it did from the reviews/vibe. Few of my buddies bought it and it's barely been touched after launch. Bizarre on only releasing one first party game and no OLED screen. I know why they didn't do the OLED, so Nintendo can offer it and jack the price up. No thanks

How do they have battery issues if it just released a new model after many years? Crazy

Mario Kart World felt like a huge step backwards from Mario Kart 8. There's nothing to play on the console unless you like to replay Swutch 1 games.

As for games like Cyberpunk and Hogwarts Legacy that still run far better on other platforms which makes buying them on SW pointless unless you only use Nintendo consoles.

They only need to sell 48,000 Switch 2's to hit that $24 million target. Joking obviously, but clearly they held back some stock for Prime Day (and that's not surprising).

I thought people were saying that the Switch 2 screen had a slower response time than the Switch 1. Like as bad as some of the worst budget LCD monitors.Edit: I guess for some people, newer = upgrade even if the functionality is objectively and measurably worse. Consumerist bots with no standards ruin every industry shake head
Everyone is hung up on the screen, but, for me, the bigger issue is that it can only output video over HDMI 2.0, meaning that the heavily advertised VRR doesn't even work outside of the built-in screen. It doesn't support FreeSync either, which would have at least allowed some TVs to get that implementation of VRR, despite the GPU architecture it uses supporting it.
I can see an argument for a less than stellar integrated screen (compared to the Switch 1 OLED model), trying to keep costs down, but releasing a console in 2025 with HDMI 2.0, with HDMI 2.2 already almost out, just shouldn't be considered acceptable. Even the Xbox Series S has HDMI 2.1, and came out years ago.
They've also kept the fact that it's HDMI 2.0, and its implications, sufficiently quiet that various tech sites have run full articles about VRR not working for TV output, and the tests they ran to confirm the discovery - so they definitely hid that fact intentionally.
As someone who is unlikely to ever take their Switch 2 out of the dock (never did for the Switch 1, either), the whole thing just really irritates me.
