No, the listing comes up as the bundle.

However, the OP also included a link to just the console if one doesn't want the bundle. As I said, reading is fundamental.

$500 for a switch and Mario kart is wild.
What's wild is people that post on a SD thread that have no interest in something. I've never seen so many people triggered over something. It's this simple. If you think it's overpriced. Don't buy it. It's $500 and people act like it's 10K.

If you think SD is still a deals site then I've got a well to sell you. This place is a shill factory for staff, a secondary visit for boomers coming from Facebook and elitists with the occasional real deal posted every now and again. Honestly it's everything in a site OTHER than a true deal site.

Could you point me to a true deal site? Honest question, not sarcasm.

I haven't found one. I've been here (I've had more than 1 account) since I think 2007ish. Back then it was mostly user-posted deals but the past 2-5 years it's progressively worse. I mean, just click on the top 10 front page deals and MAYBE one of those 10 will be user posted and not from the staff.

That said, there's still plenty of deals to be had here, one just needs to be discerning and not automatically trusting that they're genuine deals just because they're posted.

It's a bit funny that amazon is taking "requests" to buy when it's now easily available online at Target, Walmart, and Best Buy.

I don't get comments like this — the Switch 2 is a clear upgrade over the original, offering access to a new lineup of games while still supporting your existing library through backward compatibility.
It's not a forced upgrade unless you want to play the newer titles, but calling it a beta test is just inaccurate.

It's a critique on tech corporations selling iterative upgrades, basically the Apple model. The OLED Switch offered a better screen and improved battery life. Now if you wait a year or so, you can get better hardware.

"Worth $450 or $500? No, but I like to be an early adopter."It's less expensive than the original Switch adjusted for inflation and the components are superior.
true, but the original was just even more of a ripoff - doesn't mean this one isn't also. turds buying old tech with huge restrictions so they can play baby games. cute name "pudding pop"

Multiple comments defending Nintendo, then telling other people they're triggered. Why on earth are you defending a corporation. Walk away brother. This isn't a good deal.

Buy it or dont. Who cares. The bright side is that there is starting to be availability so we will likely see true deals around thanksgiving. I was willing to buy early. Factoring inflation, the price is in line with past launches and you know the games will come out so it is worth the price. That said, by the time other worthwhile games come out, there will likely be some decent sales on the console.

I get the criticism about tech companies and iterative upgrades, but that doesn't really apply here.

The OLED Switch was an upgrade it has a better screen, better battery, but it was still fundamentally the same hardware. The Switch 2, on the other hand, isn't just a slight bump. It's a full generational leap with a larger, brighter 1080p display and significantly better performance (about 30% faster) than the OLED in real-world usage.

This isn't speculation either. I still own the original Switch and two OLED models. We sold our two Switch Lites recently, and now we have two Switch 2s in the house. I've used them all. Calling this an "iterative" upgrade undersells how big the jump really is. It's not just a case of waiting a year for slightly better specs it's a whole new experience.

If you go by switch history. You would wait 4 years for switch 2 OLED to come out. Then an additional 4 more years the switch 3 would be out. Say just buy it. Or we all will be waiting for the next big model or revision.

The NES Action set with zapper and game was $150 in 1986. Today it would be $415 due to inflation.

Legend of Zelda was $50 in 1987. Today, that would be $135
