Could you point me to a true deal site? Honest question, not sarcasm.
That said, there's still plenty of deals to be had here, one just needs to be discerning and not automatically trusting that they're genuine deals just because they're posted.

It's not a forced upgrade unless you want to play the newer titles, but calling it a beta test is just inaccurate.
It's a critique on tech corporations selling iterative upgrades, basically the Apple model. The OLED Switch offered a better screen and improved battery life. Now if you wait a year or so, you can get better hardware.
Multiple comments defending Nintendo, then telling other people they're triggered. Why on earth are you defending a corporation. Walk away brother. This isn't a good deal.

The OLED Switch was an upgrade it has a better screen, better battery, but it was still fundamentally the same hardware. The Switch 2, on the other hand, isn't just a slight bump. It's a full generational leap with a larger, brighter 1080p display and significantly better performance (about 30% faster) than the OLED in real-world usage.
This isn't speculation either. I still own the original Switch and two OLED models. We sold our two Switch Lites recently, and now we have two Switch 2s in the house. I've used them all. Calling this an "iterative" upgrade undersells how big the jump really is. It's not just a case of waiting a year for slightly better specs it's a whole new experience.
