This is a different phone from the April deal. That deal was for the 2025 version. This is the older 2024 version.

Verizon is trying to nuke the 60 day rule right now. Everyone should file an FCC comment reply by July 21 to push back: https://www.reddit.com/r/verizon/...you_to_do/ - This article says the window has expired, but if you post a comment as a "reply to other comments" (it is on the FCC comment form under comment type) they will still field it.

You can use any mobile number to receive the verification code when you place the order. It does not have to be the same number you will actually port-in when you have your new phone.

https://www.reddit.com/r/verizon/...you_to_do/ - That link is working for me. Follow steps there. Just change comment type to Reply to Comments (or Comment Reply). Ordinary comments aren't being accepted anymore, but replies to existing comments are.

We live in strange times, where anti-consumer rules prevail. Would not be surprised if this gets nuked regardless.

The phone was recently $70 at Walmart during Amazon's Prime Days. It was the Straight Talk version and it could be bought outright for that price. The catch was that it still needs two months of service to unlock. Their cheapest plan is $35 per month so it still would cost $30 more than this deal.

Wish I had known about that Walmart deal. Although it'd cost $30 more than this deal, you don't have to do the ID Verification and port-in. Plus, TW (Verizon) blacklisted me because I had bought six phones (their unpublished limit) online from TW/ST/TF since last October. I just got a Metro Moto Razr 2024 from $99 + $65 Plan, but it's locked for 12 months, not as good as this or the Walmart deal.

I had to pass on the Walmart deal since I had already purchased a Straight Talk Moto Razr 2024 in March when the price dropped to $199.

So the Moto Razr 2024 for 199 was better deal than this?

How would you come to the conclusion that paying $199 is a better deal than $110? They are saying they were locked out of certain better deals/had no need for a phone so they didn't buy because they bought worse ones in the past.

Just a heads up. While it is carrier unlocked after 60 days, ATT postpaid won't allow this model on their network. I'm ticked. There is no technical reason, just that ATT are pricks. Also, total wireless service sucks for me.
That dos't make a lot of sence. more likely this is a limited band phone and dos'rt have att bands. it something you see in cheaper phones.

AT&T doesn't put a lot of phones sold by competitors like T-mobile and Verizon in their Compatibility list for business reason, not because the phones don't have the AT&T bands. The fact is that when people put in an active AT&T SIM (activated with another phone's IMEI), it worked fine, which proved the phones have the AT&T bands. https://slickdeals.net/f/18450505-total-wireless-256gb-motorola-razr-6-9-5g-smartphone-2-mon-5g-unlimited-plan-110?p=178074301#post178074301
Even though people can put an active AT&T SIM into an "Incompatible" TW phone and it works, you can't activate a new AT&T SIM when the TW phone's IMEI doesn't pass AT&T Compatibitity Check.

They're both Moto Razr 2024. Same phone. ST vs TW.
