This is a different phone from the April deal. That deal was for the 2025 version. This is the older 2024 version.

Verizon is trying to nuke the 60 day rule right now. Everyone should file an FCC comment reply by July 21 to push back: https://www.reddit.com/r/verizon/...you_to_do/ - This article says the window has expired, but if you post a comment as a "reply to other comments" (it is on the FCC comment form under comment type) they will still field it.

You can use any mobile number to receive the verification code when you place the order. It does not have to be the same number you will actually port-in when you have your new phone.

I had called customer service to activate my phone since Google Voice wasn't option in carrier drop-down list to activate online, and after calling 3 times I was advised another Department would have to complete the activation and it would take ~6 days. My account still shows inactivated on the TW website but my new phone can make and receive calls. Has this happened to anyone else, and would TW not unlock my phone after 2nd pre-paid month ends if they don't get around to activating my phone in their website.

i ordered 2 phones and received them today. They keep shutting down and then displaying no battery charge. i plug it in and then it displays the charge. I then turn it on again and it shuts down again. Can anyone relate and help me decide on what to do next. Also, one the phones have a dead pixel or some ink in the middle of the screen.

You have to do it through total. I recall on a previous listing someone wanted buy motocare+ for their mvno sourced razr and motorola practically said can't help you there dude.

This may be a stupid question and also may have been answered already but after the first month of service, could one feasibly put a sim from another Verizon company like Visible into it to qualify for the second month of paid service?
Edit: To be clear, I don't mean just this deal. But with TW deals in general.

It MIGHT work if the combined service days are from the sub-brands that used to be owned by Tracfone (Tracfone, Total Wireless, Straight Talk, Net10, etc). Although Visible is owned by Verizon, it's separate from the Tracfone sub-brands. For TW deals, the months after the 1st month can be met by asking a TW rep to apply the $10/month Keep Connected Plan (unlimited talk/text, No Data). None of the other sub-brands has a monthly plan that's as cheap.

How long can you wait before activating service?

I got my razr yesterday and my visible sim works without activating the device. I don't plan switching carriers soon so how long can I wait to activate service before it becomes locked forever(I wanna use other carriers in the future)
I can activate the service now since I paid the 110 already but I cannot port my current number right now because I can't afford any number transfer delays/issues that may arise

Dumb question, can I activate this phone 2 days after delivery? My phone is arriving tomorrow from Total Wireless. But I have a pending order a Metro Iphone 13, and I want to activate the Metro Iphone before activating the Total Razr 2024.
Im letting my Metro lines/account expire on the 25th and wanted to activate the Iphone on Metro first before porting thd Metro number to Total

have up to 12 months to activate or the plan disappears from the phone IMEI when activating then it will make you purchase new plan.

ATT never blocks or suspends your account for using an incompatible phone. I've been using all kinds on phones on my account and no one cares.
