This was a price mistake that I found and posted to share with others. If I remember correctly, inventory was 100+ (at least in my area) and the deal sold out in under 5 minutes. I think your assessment is unfair; I have no idea whether or not orders will be fulfilled or not (and I said this in my original post). I did buy one and we'll see if Lowe's ships it to me. I'm thinking a few people got in on this deal and just didn't post here.

Also, I'm always pleased when my deals make FP but that's not a decision I get to make.

It is the SD way. Many "deals" from staff get pushed to FP with single digit ups prematurely.

True price mistakes often make FP quickly. This deal was a $428 string trimmer for $20. I got one, likely several others up at midnight got one (or many).

Edit: my order got canceled, darn it.
