Wasatch 22 Gun Fire and Waterproof Safe with Electronic Lock - BJ's $299 was $699. Free in store pickup, shipping is expensive. Even with the shipping cost added, it is still cheaper than a lot of competitors, as an example Amazon has the smaller 18 gun safe for $811 shipped. I have check it out in store and it appears to be extremally nice for the money, BJ's and Amazon rate it 4.5/5.

This seems like a great safe for the money - for either firearms and/or personal documents and belongings. Fire rating is a bit low, but considering the price it's fine.

The biggest drawback seems to be getting it home from BJ's. It weighs nearly 400 lbs. and delivery adds $273.11, plus you probably still need to get it inside your home once the delivery truck drops it off. If you have big friends and a truck you can pick it up yourself from BJ's, but if you have to pay for shipping and then hire someone to bring it inside, the cost savings will be completely lost.

Two people with a dolly should be able to move this easy enough. Taking it to a second floor might be hard but 2-3 people should be able to manage.

Shipping hurts the deal, but even with shipping its under $600. That still a good price compared to other stores for the same thing.

It's a tin can - keeps honest people out.

Best thing to do is find a top quality safe on FB or cl or as a trade in. If you buy from a safe company you might get a better install deal, especially if you buy a nice one believe me there's so much that can go wrong getting it up/down stairs. Lol. Including death.

I paid $450 for my delivery of a 2k lb safe. Bargain!

Don't listen to the slickdeal haters. I just picked this safe up. 1000x better quality than I expected. I was about to buy an expensive safe what a great deal! Shocked at how nice it is!

Absolutely, very nice safe. Costco charges $650 for a very similar one. This is good enough to keep kids and run if the mill burglars out. Nothing else comes close for $300.

They'll likely load it onto your truck for you. You can unload it yourself by just sliding it off slowly. I've moved one a little heavier than this one myself with a hand truck. Long as you don't have to go up stairs, it can be done. Even getting it up curved stairs during my last move. I just had my BIL help me. We removed the door, strapped onto a hand truck, and brought it up one step at a time for each piece.

The key to these things is finding a nook, or corner to bolt it to floors and studs, so that sides are not accessible to an angle grinder.
