We have two of these. We live in an area that gets storms, floods & hurricanes at some times of the year and ice storms at others, and this has saved us more than a few times. It will run a refrigerator for at least 24 hours. Each time we're able to run our refrigerator and freezer on these generators, we probably save $250 worth of lost food per unit.

You know if you just keep the door shut the stuff on the inside won't go bad in 24 hours...
