Does this require any monthly subscription?
No but the app is littered with ads. I'm done with Eufy because of this. Beware
The keypad only one I got for my basement door seems to have disconnected from Eufy and has all of its settings through the Google Home app now. Some settings, like time to auto-lock, are stripped down compared their app, but if WiFi is disconnected then batteries should last much longer (which is why I got the matter compatible one)
As for this lock, I emailed Eufy to get a price match with the cart/coupon screen shot attached. Hopefully they price match to avoid unnecessary returns.
UPDATE: I received a confirmation from Eufy support that they will refund me the difference after sending them an email and a screenshot of the code in my checkout
