These gloves do not need broken in. Cheap gloves are made from synthetic materials with "out of the box" use in mind.

Gloves made from steer hide or kip leather need broken in. These are your Rawlings Heart of the Hide, Pro Preferred, Wilson A2k, A2000, 44 Pro, SSK Z7, Z9 etc.

In that case, get a nice glove mallet and just beat the crap out of it, especially on the hinges.

The lining sucks, it's not leather. When you sweat it gets all slippery/sticky. The leather isn't the highest quality and gets floppy. I leave mine in my car in case I just want to play quick catch with my kids and don't want to bring my better gloves with me. For this price though, it's a great beater glove.

Some of the pics show quality issues. Even at $30 is too much if you have to throw out after playing it a bit. Might as well put the extra and buy something that can last longer. If you only play it once a year, then it should be fine.
