a 2 lb whole bean coffee is around $23 at a locally owned non-chain coffee shop in my area. you can tell how fresh it is too by how oily it is when you open the paper bag.
This is cheaper than any whole bean at Walmart except the 8 o clock brand which is quite bad (I tried it) I think people saying it is expensive have missed how large this bag is. However, I'm going to pass because coffee on sale at Amazon is almost certainly stale. But thumbs up regardless
Probably some of the worst coffee I've ever tasted if you're a fan of Starbucks pikes placdor someone who associates bitterness with strong coffee(which is false) you'll probably like this but it's often over roasted and burnt.
Pike Place is not bitter and it's definitely not strong.

$20 is about the average price of 1 pound bag here. Oily coffee beans are not the best way to determine freshness.

Awesome find. To many people don't realize that coffee is one of the most pesticide heavy crops and crucial to buy Organic Certified.
Have, probably 20#'s in freezer, but have to stock up at $50 for 6 packs subscribe and save price.
With 15% SS price it is like $4 pound!
Have had coffee whole beans froze over 5+ years and I don't taste difference, and they are still oily.
