I'm the OP. I saw this deal posted on another site and thought it should be shared here. I've had good experience with this brand before, I have a couple of different chargers and cables from them so I took a chance and ordered this deal before I posted it. Much of what we buy on Amazon is now from these companies that we are taking a chance on. Go back about 10 years ago and we didn't know what Anker was and now it is a trusted brand. When the Apple Store started carrying their chargers, it was the ultimate seal of approval to me. I took a similar leap of faith about a year ago on a power bank from INIU. That one had only a handful of reviews at the time.It turned out to be a surprisingly nicely constructed battery that hasn't let me down yet. My assumption with a lot of these Chinese products is they come out of the same factories as the more familiar brands. Pricing is lower on the unfamiliar brands than the more familiar ones and significantly lower than the big brands that are western companies just manufacturing in China or elsewhere but have bigger marketing and operating costs.

Why does the watch strap need to be removed to charge?

cheap product by a fly by night brand. But somehow enough people will come to defend it and vote on it than a post about a new Playstation for half off.

Looks like because it is so much wider than a watch-only charger that with most watch straps it'll be really hard to get it to lie completely flat. The Apple Watch needs to be right up against the charger to work, it's not as forgiving as Magsafe on the phone (maybe because the glass is so much thicker?).

I come up with $77.37.

I don't know where "$21.97 Get 1 free item when you buy 1 select item(s) discount" came from for you, but I've tried multipole ways of adding the products to my cart and this never shows up.

Looks like that part of the deal is dead. I'll update.

I just got the exact deal in OP for $50 for two batteries 2 min ago. Also have used this brand for various chargers cable etc for years. It's not as well known as anker but same quality- say it's tier 2. Look at reviews for their other products.

This deal is still active I just purchased the two items. You gotta make sure the qualifying item is the glacier color.

I use a Lisen magsafe charger, a car mount and cables. All have been well made and work fine. I also tried INIU battery products. They have been great as well.

The following INIU Qi2 charger is $39.99 but 40% off with a coupon. It has 45W output, 2 USB C ports, a built in stand and a well made detachable lanyard cable. It is slightly thinner/shorter and slightly wider (very small amounts) vs the Lisen. https://a.co/d/8nWNwYH

I really like the 5000mah Lisen. It is super slim.

There's a big power bank recall in China because the bad quality batteries inside made by Apex, any more info about this product ?

It's because, as I've stated in multiple threads on SD, Lisen products have horrible QC issues. Voltages (and watts) are all over the place vs stated. These issues can and do damage devices. I bought two of their chargers; one was severely under spec and barely charged my phone, while the other had huge voltage spikes that bought my phone up to unsafe temps. This permanently damages the battery and can lead to fires. These are garbage tier products that SD staff for whatever reason(🙄) keep posting.

I have 3 of them and no issues. Read the 1* reviews. Many are dumb stuff:

- I have an iphone pro max and the 5Kmah wont fully charge my phone. Of course, a battery that size cannot fully charge a promax
- It gets hot in my pocket. Also dumb. Anyone will tell you that using a wireless charger in the sun or in your pocket…it will get very hot
- It doesnt stick to my case. Get a better magsafe case

Which specific Lisen products did you have issues with?
