No they are not. It has two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4x4 Slots. In one of the slots, Lenovo is simply putting a 2242 SSD. Normally a standard 2280 Slot can take 2242 and 2260 ssds as well, if the manufacturer provides holding screw for each of those sizes. This specific 2280 bay can accept 2242 and 2280 drives.
